Ringworm / Groin Itch

Ringworm and groin itch (also known as jock itch) are both common fungal infections of the skin, but they affect different body areas and have some specific characteristics:

Ringworm (Tinea Corporis):
Ringworm, despite its name, is not caused by a worm but by a fungus. It typically appears as a red, itchy, circular rash with healthy-looking skin in the middle, creating a ring-like appearance. The edges of the ring may be slightly raised or scaly. Ringworm can occur on many parts of the body, including the scalp, feet (where it's known as athlete’s foot), nails, and other skin areas. The fungus thrives in warm, moist environments and is highly contagious. It can be spread through direct contact with an infected person or animal, or by touching surfaces or objects that have been contaminated with the fungus, such as towels, clothes, and grooming items.

Groin Itch (Tinea Cruris or Jock Itch):
Groin itch, commonly referred to as jock itch, specifically affects the groin area, inner thighs, and buttocks. It appears as a red, itchy, often ring-shaped rash in these warm, moist areas of the body. Jock itch is more common in men and adolescent boys. The fungus that causes jock itch is similar to the one that causes athlete’s foot, and sometimes, the infection can spread from the feet to the groin because the fungus travels on towels or clothing.

For the treatment of fungal infections such as ringworm or groin itch, it is recommended to use Quantum.Silver both internally and externally. Follow these steps:

Oral Intake: Drink 50ml of Quantum.Silver twice daily. This regimen should be continued consistently for at least 2 weeks to effectively combat the fungus.
Topical Application: Apply Quantum.Silver Spray or Quantum.Silver Gel to the affected area twice daily. Ensure that the area is clean before application to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment.
Hygiene: Always wash your hands thoroughly after treating the affected area. This is crucial to prevent the spread of the fungus to other parts of your body or to other people.
Following this treatment plan diligently for the recommended duration is essential to ensure the fungus is fully eradicated.
